An international adoption requires particular preparation and homestudy education. With the Adoption Connection’s vast experience in international adoption, we will ensure that you will be fully informed and equipped to transition a new child into your family. Your child will benefit from having adoptive parents who are sensitive to their needs and have an understanding of their unique history and the impact of their past.
Twelve hours of group training specific to international adoption will be offered to all prospective adoptive families prior to the approval of their homestudy.

Educational groups will offer class discussion, guest speakers, experiential activities and an opportunity to build a support group with other couples who are completing an international adoption.
